Most business training focuses on skills for the "No-Problem Area" - for example, how to ask questions to understand client needs. However, the L.E.T. approach addresses how to handle situations where the client is having a problem. In these cases, asking questions can actually be an ineffective strategy, as the client may be resistant to feedback. The key is to recognize when the client is in "problem mode" and adjust your approach accordingly, moving away from questioning and towards active listening and empathy.
